I'm thrilled to announce that FUTURE WEATHER is the 2009 winner of Showtime’s Tony Cox Award for Screenwriting from the Nantucket Film Festival. I'll be attending the fest, which builds its program specifically around exemplary screenwriting, June 18-22. And in October, I'll have the opportunity to participate in the festival's month-long Screenwriters’ Colony with industry mentors. I feel like I've won the lottery.

Being selected as a semi-finalist for the Netflix FIND Your Voice Competition was a huge blessing because it forced Kristin and me to make a short film in one month while holding our standards incredibly high. I can't think of a better exercise for aspiring filmmakers. Four weeks later we have a completed film in the can that we're proud of. See pics of the process @ The Future Weather Report.
